The reason I became a thirty-one consultant was to help families who are fundraising to bring their children home. We were blessed with many folks that helped us bring S home and we feel that we should be doing all we can to help other families and waiting children. To start off my thirty-one fundraising I have asked a wonderful family if we can do a party for them. Mandi does so much for so many in the adoption community and I am so excited that we can step up and help them bring Keliah home.
Keliah is 9 years old and is waiting for her family in China. She has spent so many years waiting for a forever family and this family is ready to be her forever. The only thing standing in their way is the fees that need paid. To start the journey they need to raise the funds for the USCIS immigration approval in order to submit their paperwork to China.
I am holding my first party for this little girl and her forever family. You can shop with a purpose at Bringing Keliah Home starting today and ending at midnight on February 23rd. Orders will be placed on February 24th and will be shipped directly to you in approximately two weeks. All commission from sales go Keliah's family to bring her home.
For the month of February thirty-one has a great sale going on. For every $31 product purchase you receive one item for half price. If you spend $62 in product you get two items at half price. To redeem the special 31% discount, enter $31 or more in retail purchases and thenenter the customer's selected sale product with the item # followed by "S." For example, enter #3000S for the Thermal Tote when the customer selects that item as her 31% off product. Personalization is not included in the discount. Shipping and tax is calculated on the discounted price for the sale item.
Hop on over to Keliah's party and help her family bring her home!
Once upon a time there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work. One day he was walking along the shore. As he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself to think of someone who would dance to the day. So he began to walk faster to catch up. As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn't dancing, but instead he was reaching down to the shore, picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean. As he got closer he called out, "Good morning! What are you doing?" The young man paused, looked up and replied,"Throwing starfish in the ocean." "I guess I should have asked, why are you throwing starfish in the ocean?" "The sun is up and the tide is going out. And if I don't throw them in they'll die." "But, young man, don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach and starfish all along it. You can't possibly make a difference!" The young man listened politely. Then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves and said-"It made a difference for that one."
